News at School

So normally seniors at Hatton High have a small festival/party that the PTA puts together. It's like a tradition for the school, and it happens at the end of the year at the Big Green. But because the Green is pretty much closed it might not happen. A ton of people are complaining to the counselors and to the principal.

I think they're going to ask if the celebration can be held before construction starts, but apparently it's gonna be an uphill battle. Bear Building really doesn't want people on the property anymore according to one of my informants. It makes sense. The Big Green is now private property.

The elementary school Field Day is being moved elsewhere as well, and I think some parents are pretty upset about it. No one has done anything but Facebook and Twitter have been blowing up for the past week because of all the changes. Now that people are being more vocal about the Green, this might be the chance to nip this in the bud. I say we should have an active protest or a march to town hall. If enough of us are there, then they have to do something.
